Our Team

Ger Keane
Ger Keane worked in Hartmann International Sports Injury Clinic from 2006 -11. There he worked extensively with many of the world’s top athletes as they prepared for major competition including Olympic and World Championships. This included travelling to high altitude training camps in France, Kenya and Ethiopia. He also worked with GAA intercounty teams, soccer, tennis, horseracing and rugby players at international level. In 2012 he established his own Physical Therapy practice in Kerry while working with the Kerry senior football team (2011 - 2018), Kerry minor team (2019 to 2022), Kerry senior hurlers (2016-2020) and Clare Senior Hurling Team (2015 -2017). Ger holds a degree with distinction in Applied Science and Physical Therapy and a level 8 science degree in Advanced Athletic Performance. He is also an accredited member with UKSCA, the UK’s professional body for strength and conditioning. (https://www.uksca.org.uk/).
Ger has a vast knowledge in treating acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries, chronic debilitating diseases such as lower back, neck and shoulder pain and post-operative care including ACL and back rehabilitation. Having worked with many intercounty teams in the past he is now passionately involved in Kerry football and hurling.
Julia Buest
Julia Buest joined the team from Co. Waterford following her qualification with distinction from the Institute of Physical Therapy (2016). She holds a BSc. (Hons) in Physiology from UCC (2012) and is an accredited member with UKSCA also. Having completed UKSCA she now provides performance programmes for athletes with a special interest in athletics. She specialises in rehabilitation, and has extensive experience in treating chronic neuromusculoskeletal diseases including lower back, shoulder and hip related pain with special interest in pre and post-operative care programmes.
Julia played with the Waterford county football team underage and with West Waterford athletics club until she suffered an ACL injury which cut her sporting career short, so it is no surprise that she really enjoys working with all athletes, including the Kerry Minors (2019-2022) and the Kerry senior hurling team (2016 - 2019).
